Aspire Erawan, BKK

The BTS sukhumvit line will have another extension to the south east of Bangkok with E16-E23 in the fall of this year or early next year.  The current final stop is Sam Rong.  Because of this extension, there has been an increasing number of condo. being built.  This new extension is quite industrial with lots of factories and plants around.  It seemed it's quite far from downtown, but this Sukhumvit line at least brings you to the main busy areas like Ekkaimai, Thonglor, Emporium, Asoke, Chitlom to Siam.  It takes 40 minutes to reach Siam.  So I checked out Aspire Erawan.  A one bedroom suite at 30 sq. m. is about THB2.34 millions.  Price per sq. m. isn't that cheap but the higher ceiling of the room in a more useful layout are the plus for choosing this condo.  There is a big rooftop garden with a view to the Chaophraya river downstream area and further on I could see Yanawa/Sathorn.  

Ideo Mobi Wongsawang, Bang Son, BKK

So I walked back along the purple line to Bang Son.  There are quite a number of big condo. complex, e.g. Supalai, Parkland, U-Delight, and this one Ideo Mobi.  Taking the convenience of its doorstep to the MRT, I went in Ideo for checking their condo.  The price is almost the same as Aspire Wongsawang but the apt. is a bit smaller - a 22 sq. m. studio at THB2.1 million.  The public facilities made up for this short fall.  When I went up to the rooftop, the panoramic view of the infinity pool, the gym, the garden and the library were awesome.

In the recent few years, there have been an increasing number of condo open for sale in HK.  This is one of the those.  It's on the purple MRT line (2 stops from Tao Poon to blue line which connects to downtown Asoke in 40 minutes).  The area is very local and even the branches of Black Canyon, Boots are very local (design of the 70's and 80's).  After all, the condo itself is just 100 meters to the MRT entrance.  The sales office told that only 1 bedroom unit (26 sq. m.) is available for sale.  Studio and 2 bedroom units were sold out.  The 1BR unit was about THB2.35 million including fixed furniture and 1 air-con.  The price may not be very attractive but if you like this area, this could be a choice.
