the Music, the Fashion, ZEN the department Store, Bangkok

Zen, a Department store staying since the World Trade Centre era, renovated itself in the Central World (ex-World Trade Centre) last year. I have noticed every time when I stepped in this Department Store, the Store play some very nice House Music (with constant drum tempo at 120-130 BPM - beat per minute). A human heart is at around 60BPM. So the house music at 120BPM is double the tempo of a human heart beat, which would make people feel energetic. So that really made me feel like browsing those stuff inside the Store. In fact, I watched an analysis from London that shops playing some upbeat music will motivate the customers to buy. The analysis revealed shops playing upbeat music have a growth of sales of 30% more before they didn't play music.

I often think Music, Fashion and Hair Style are inter-related, especially when we check on how the artistes and singers lead the trend. I do enjoy spending time at Zen, simply having a listen to their house music.

yes this young and energized concept store has its own in-house dj playing house music all day, u feel the beat so ur pocket feel the heat :)

sad part is the store shall hv an open-air cafe in the store so shoppers can take a sip and relax to the music

there is only 2 eateries in the store but both has its own enclosure and play different music, one is the Bert's (from Paris) on the ground floor and the other is the Central Food Loft on the 7th floor

of course step into the mall area, Central World has 70 small and large eateries to offer shoppers

recently i enjoy my lunch at Triple-O (7/f inside the Central Food Hall) for the burger, then spending a few hours in Create 8 (3/f near ZEN) for tea time, move to Nobu for the all-u-can-eat shabu shabu at B399++ (7/f Central World)

Har.. I don't even know there is any eatery inside Zen, as my attention is on the house music. In fact, they play various house music, from twist to progressive. Kind of cool!

Create 8 - ok, time to post a photo. Nobu is pretty nice and the good thing you can have your own taste. Triple O - of course ok. Mmmh.. we missed taking a photo on Triple O's burger.

Haha pocket feel the heat. Good for the shop to know it. In the Sea, you count the beat of the music? You are really for it. Cheers for the music.
