1. the 2 bed room pool villa. 2. the open sitting area for a drink or meal surrounded by water and the view to the Andaman Sea.
3. the Nest on the second floor, this section is a bit closer to the beach side. 4. the Nest - main area above the restaurant - very chilled with water and sea breeze.
5. the indoor restaurant if you prefer not to eat in open area. 6. the lounge area.

11. view to the whole restaurant. 12. dinner appetizer - the pickled on the left, curry bean paste chicken on the middle bottom and crushed olive on the middle top. Those were very nice going with the prawn crackers and bread sticks.
13. Banana yogurt smoothie. 14. Mango, lime orange smoothie. Both were very nicely mixed and very chilled.
15. Tom Kai Gai with prawn - quite impressed with the right blend of the ingredients. The lemon grass was very fresh, so were the prawn and chicken. 16. from left top and right bottom, stir fried morning glory, beef salad, the green, curry chicken, basil with minced pork, fish cake - I can tell the master chef of the restaurant did a nice job in running the kitchen. All the dishes were quite Thai taste, especially the beef salad and the basil/minced pork.
17. steamed rice - the rice was cooked to a perfect texture and pretty hot. Like I told on the posting, if a kitchen can't do well on some basic food like rice and bread, the master chef should really need to think about what he is doing. 18. pumpkin pudding with a home made coconut ice cream. The coconut ice cream is very nice with some coconut bits in it and it's not too sweet.

Thank you SEA for the nice introduction of Phuket and its resort hotels.
This is more enjoyable than reading T&L's hotel reports.
The food looks delicious and the environment so charming.
Thanks. I think the restaurant of the Sala is the best among all the resorts' restaurants I have ever tried. At least for local and foreign cuisine plus the services are so impressive. Highly recommend for those who want some nice meals plus a nice deco. of the resort.
Just from the photos I already can tell Sala is super, let alone to know Sala is a "spin out" of MO-BKK.
BTW, the prices of this restaurant is not that high. A soup/salad is just at THB250-300 and a thai stir-fried is at THB300-400 and a western main course is around THB350-800 (from pasta to steak). Their steak is good!
