Even at the middle of November, many malls in HK have started their own Christmas decorations. Harbour City is the place for many people bringing their various cameras for taking photos.
Wow. No wonder people said HK has the best X'Mas lights. And also because HK is so condensed so it is easier decorate. Even BKK has good X'Mas lights too. LA is the worst as the place is too spread out so hard to decorate well.
Yes, I have some "Kwai Lo" customers said the X'Mas in HK is the best in the whole world. Yes they have been in most of the big cities in the world. They said Taipei/BKK are the second best. And Europe and US overall are not as magnificent/sepctacular as those in the above 3 Asian places. Funny Shanghai was not mentioned yet.
Except the Harbour View photos which I put the camera on the stone curb and reduce the aperture to F5 to 6 for 5-6 sec. exposure time, all others were taken on my 2 elbows tightly held against the 2 sides of my lower chest and holding breath for taking them. BTW, Panasonic LX-3 is even better than my Leica D-Lux 3 in terms of the electronic parts and the F2 aperture. However, the higher aperture will result in some scattered images if it's on a scenery photo.

There are indeed quite many SE Asian tourists coming to HK for Christmas because of the lighting and decoration and what they call atmosphere.

Har... why not Singapore. I heard many foreign visitors (esp. from the States) really like Singapore.
Did you use tripod for those night photos? They come out very nice and looks interesting.
