Movie - Moulin Rouge

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" was typed by a writer Christian (Ewan McGregor in the movie) in a dim blue room up on the hill of Montmartre, Paris where grew the Bohemian culture in the late 19th century for the musicians, painters and artists looking for freedom of art and improvised lifestyle. Various great pieces of songs were used, such as "The Sound of Music", "Your Song", "Lady Marmalade", "Come What May", especially remarking the hook lines and the spiritual parts of all those songs like "The hills are alive with the sound of music", "I hope you don't mind. I hope you don't mind that I put down in words. How beautiful life is. Now you are in the World." . Nicole Kidman was so good in interpreting the character Satine - the Sparkling Diamond in a French nightclub crowded with customers living in obsession, jealousy and desires. Christian fell in love with Satine. There he wrote a musical play for Satine while Satine was suffering from an irrecoverable dying sickness and living under the devil hands of the investor of the play - the Duke. The show must go on. Satine held her last breath until the show was finished. From the obsession of love, the power of greediness and possession, to the loss of love and emptiness.
