I don't see the photos at all. Only your 3 comments here. Yes, LA is very extreme in terms of temperature. It can be easily 30 degrees different everyday. So during early morning(5 Am to 8 AM) my heater is on, and during the PM air condition is on.

I heard HK is very hot recently. But LA is quite cool for July(10 degree below the normal July).
My heater is automatically on each morning.
