Bowrington Canal between Causeway Bay and Wanchai, Hong Kong

When I checked the below photo on a fly over in Causeway Bay, it stated "Bowrington Canal". That's where Bowrington 寶靈頓道 & Canal Road 堅拿道 are - the place nicknamed as Goose Neck bridge鵝頸橋, and it's also the area dividing Causeway Bay and Wanchai. I recall how my grand ma told me they used to row their sampans. At that time, I was puzzled "row a boat to Wanchai?".

Wow what a previous and historic photo from grand ma.

Is Goose Neck Bridge the place to "hit little people"?

This photo is posted in a public area of Causeway Bay, but just my grand ma told me they used to row a boat to Causeway Bay and Wanchai at that time. Yes, that's the place for the profession of "hit little people".
