混沌初開之時。 That's why we eat won tun in CNY. Breaking the won tun means the taking a new year with everything as a birth or something new.

I love wonton a lot too, Cantonese or Taiwan or Shanghaiese.I did not know the meaning of wonton till tonight. Thank you SEA.
There are many proverbs and philosophy in the classic Chinese culture we need to really look into them when we have time. Wonton has so much meaning in it.
Good that you can make us learn more out of the wonton. I only thought of eating related to this word before this post.
