Yes, because of the self-developing economy, Dubai attracts a lot of Middle Eastern tourists. BTW, Dubai isn't that rich after I saw some other things. In fact, the living cost isn't that high either. Perhaps I am from such an already money-blown city as HK. To be posted later...

Yes, when I see those houses, I had the vision of Palm Dessert. In fact, both are in real dessert.
The only difference is Dubai is now a fast growing and rich city.

Any place is cheaper compared to HK is not that expensive.
On Shopping, Dubai is cheaper than quite many places (due to the tax free policy) including BKK for those int'l brands.
