Junior Suite, Avani Riverside, ChaoPhrya River, BKK

4-5 years ago when I visited the old Marriott riverside (now Anatara), this place was still a small mall and a construction site.  Now that it's a big hotel building with all the rooms facing the riverside.  The both ends are the junior suite (double the size of the standard room).  On the left side, you can take a view to the upper river stream.  If you mind there is a cemetery nearby, kindly consider the other side to the downstream.

Paying about HK$800 for a night is very worth it and I believe it's the introductory rate.  Later on, the room can be sold at HK$1,200 to 1,500.

Suggest you stay here without bothering to go out or just checking around the riverside, since the traffic isn't too good in this area.
