Breakfast at the riverside terrace, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok

The size of the buffet became a bit smaller as compared to 10 years ago though the food selection and fruit juice choices are still there.  Due to the low occupancy rate (about 30-40%), some of the food got dried out (e.g. honey ham).  Nonetheless, their bread station has always been awesome.  Not to missed are their house made yoghurt and jam.  I somehow like their cherry pie as it's the classic type that nothing fancy like overwhelming sweet and extra crusty.  It's just a bread texture of the pie crust with soaked cherries in light cherry wine pudding.  My another favourite is their fruit cake - very classic flavour and texture.

Only 30 to 40% occupancy rate is low.
