If you pay just US$7 more, you can get this top floor room with a big terrace for a panoramic view. The hotel even put us to a room at the highest level of the whole resort. The room is very tidy and clean, but the air-conditioning is a bit too strong (even at the lowest speed).

It that the sunset out there or the smoke from Indonesia?
I don't think so but that day it was blowing some northerly wind; so the sky was a bit clearer. However, all the other days were in southerly wind (from Indonesia). Today news is that the smog also affected Philippines (Cebu - a southern city). So that means those farmers seem to burn their whole country to get this wide radius from Thailand to Philippines (3-4,000 km) and Malaysia/Singapore can't get away for sure. Or I should say it covers all the ASEAN countries.
