Chúc mừng năm mới (Happy New Year), Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam

Ironic that Vietnam is much more Chinese than HK and even mainland China.  They call the new year as the Lunar New Year like South Korea, and have a very long holiday for a whole week.  So many things I haven't seen since the 70's, but I could find them all from this place.

You are right if they did not say I thought this is in China or HK.
Very festive CNY feel.

It's nice to see some countries inheriting some tradition.

I think some countries may observe more than the original country of that festival.
For example, I keep telling our China trainee we will eat sticky rice ball dessert on 7th and the 15th day on CNY which they did not know.

True that in TW and other overseas country, they preserve more traditional things. I think it's all because of the western culture influence. The word "Globalisation" is just another beautified term "colonisation".
