Shinjuku Prince, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan

Shinjuku Prince is the most convenient tourist hotel. The hotel has undergone a renovation lately. So at around US$140 net during the New Year's season, it's a very good deal.

1. Shinjuku Prince lower floors used to be Seibu Dept. Store but now no more. It's the hit one - Uniqlo and of course the Muji replacing it. 2. Shinjuku Prince is along the JR line and next to Kabuki area. The brown one behind is Shinjuku Prince. These 2 photos were taken on my Canon 400D with a fixed 50mm focal length (equil. 80mm on 35mm).

3. hotel room to NIshi(west)-Shinjuku - the main commercial area. 4. another view.

5. JR line is downstairs and very busy desule. 6. the room is Japan's standard size but they do renovate from head to toe with things of good quality..

7. the bed. 8. the bathroom looks small but then not so. Very good design. The water faucet, sprinkler and everything are of some very high quality. BTW, shower gel, shampoo are super goodorf le.

9. See the room has everything. BTW, the TV video and sound quality is superb! I watched the annual "Red White" contest last night. Very professional. This is something I like Japan. They work everything into every single detail.

Sorry... I guess it's because I did it in the copying and pasting way which messed up the coding. Will re-post it later.

$140 US for Prince Hotel during New Year in the high-cost Japan is a real bargain.

酒店的服務也不錯,我有次買了個蜜瓜想問他們借刀切,他們以不安全為理由拒絕借,但就以Room Service的形式幫我切片去核,還附上刀叉,比我原先的要求好一百倍!

Wow... another Mandarin Oriental service! I also noticed their services have improved. Just like when I re-opened my luggage for putting more stuff inside and the concierge lady came to help me to close the luggage.
