The hotel highlighted their rooftop pool and bar plus a social club on the floor beneath. So all these attracted some interesting, pretentious and show-off clients. The next day I saw a lady being topless walking around without any discreet. The funny part is the pool attendant coming to us and asking us about our room no., though I put on the hotel bathrobe. Further funny is that pool attendant just walked away without any service. He was very busy sweeping the floor and "watching".
Since the hotel already had some other issues (the door knob failure due to the housekeeping improperly closing the door and the restaurant serving smelly food), I couldn't help it but then complained it to the front office. 10 minutes later, a staff came up and chatted with the pool attendant. In another 10 minutes, another staff came to that lady and so that lady had no choice but reluctantly put back her missing piece.

It seems the service and the people there are not up to standard and not in line with this high end hotel yet.
I think it's only about this hotel and the clientele. Forget about this kind of M Gallery hotel series.
I remember you told me that the M Gallery hotel series in BKK also not that good.
In fact, quite many Accor hotels I have tried are mostly too "deco." but sadly the "deco" is too surface. The material is very light and of some poor quality. Overall, it's a low class surface sarcastic trendy deco. Without some proper services, this isn't even called a hotel.
Consumers are smart nowadays cannot fool them with some superficial so called trendy deco to cheat them.
I would say still quite a lot of people would just see the surface of the deco.
