This resort has 4 sections of pools. The pros is the exclusivity of the guests staying in that section. The cons is that it's not connected like a big lagoon pool that the guests can swim around. Besides, it's quite a contrast of the rooms with their own section (like photo 1) but the others with a blocking view. They should at least have a price variance for the room location.

You are right Sea they look like high end serviced apartments now.
They shall connect each other and consolidate each pool into bigger one.
I really don't know why they made the section by only 1-2 feet higher. Either connecting the pool on the same level, or simply raise the other section higher to have a better view, or even with a duplex unit which made it a whole lot different.
Yes, that is why Thailand cannot be HK although it has a lot more natural resources than HK.
