The first time I tried to book a room with this chain resort 4 years ago but it was full for months. Later on, the prices are going higher and higher until half year ago I noticed it was on a sale thru' a HK travel agent - almost 50% off from the rates provided by various major websites. Travel agent still survived in their own way by their marketing with the resorts.
The room itself is quite nice but the sofa was a bit too absorbed with the suntan oil. This is something I really don't like the others abusing their use of the villa for not being considerate. At least put a towel on it.
The surrounding is very nice with a flat shallow water area. Need to walk for a hundred yards for some coral sighting. Better book the senior water villa as it's 30% more spacious and in a better location but the price is only 10% more.
The resort is an all-inclusive for all room types. The pros is that you don't need to speak about your room no. and you can order anything you want. The cons is that if you don't drink, that means you pay a higher room cost - at least 30% more. So if it's not on sale and if the price isn't in a big difference, I wouldn't book for an all-inclusive. Besides, I wouldn't drink too much soda a day - only 2 at the most. So it's kind of waste for me.

How much are you paying for this all-inclusive?
In this kind of Maldives 5 star all-incl. resort, it's about HK$6-8k a night. However, some HK agent has some package which would have some promo. for the room close to HK$5-6k. I noticed not many CN tourists going to this kind of resort by thinking "no need to pay", but they don't drink much. So the resort is smart to have more CN customers to balance those "3 big bottles of red wine" customers.
Wow for this price for sure they will earn a lot on all CN customers since we do not wine and dine as much as the Westerners.
