High tea at the Tea Room, ex-British Embassy, Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan

I like travelling by walking around without any planned direction.  In fact, Hakodate has quite many signs for directions for you to check out various interesting places including this one.  The high tea set served at this tea room isn't expensive, at just JPY 1,250.  So nice to have some fine English tea, a hot scone, nice sandwiches and pastries.

Cannot tell this is in Japan if not seeing the wall paper.

Thanks for reminding of that. I didn't even notice it though.
