Ultra short haul business class meal, TPE-HKG on Cathay Pacific

It's always impressive to see how the crew can serve a full business meal within 40 minutes without a rush.  FYI, normally they will start to serve meal 20 minutes after take off and needs to clear everything 25 minutes before landing.  The flight time between HK and Taiwan is about 1 hour and 10-20 minutes.  That's a very challenging service.  As for the food quality, CX has often kept that at a pretty high standard.  This time I had a duck liver pate with grilled pineapple and a main course grilled garoupa with cous cous and the dessert is a nice choco mouse cake.

That means after taking off and before getting ready to landing, they only have 40 minutes from serving you to wrapping up the meal ready.
I think only HK people can be so highly efficient.
Very impressive.
For the same length of flying time from LAX to SF we can only get peanuts due to limited flying time(one hour).

BR (Eva Air) was also very efficient too. I had the similar full meal and again, they didn't work like in a rush.

That is why US or Europe people cannot compete with Taiwan or Hong Kong in terms of efficiency.

Don't forget the passengers also need to eat fast otherwise the dishes will be taken back fast within 20 minutes.:)
