The menu has been modified to focus on a variety of curry, Thai appetizers, steak and seafood, and also with an increase of 30% as compared to 1.5 years ago. For example, a meal like the below for 2 cost about THB1,800. Very disappointing that the food given wasn't justified with the price we paid. The prawn and the fish were marinated pretty much to be kept fresh. Sorry any seafood marinated for a long time would give a strange "protein rotten" smelly. Better get the room services for a Pad Thai or fried rice. Then a strange thing is that the French restaurant on the level 3 (just 2 storey above this restaurant) is another story, though it's even more pricey. To be posted later...

So this is Phuket week again for you.
Yes food in Phuket is known to be pricey.
Noticed not just this resort, but also others are getting more expensive.
Phuket is like the Hawaii in Asia.
