This lounge has been renovated for almost a year. Supposed it should have given a big surprise, but it wasn't to me. The place has been expanded to take over the previous BA lounge in addition to its original place at the G wing of SUV Airport.
The deco. resembles the one of Haneda Airport with the so-called Asian contemporary ambience. Those round wooden chairs (photo 2) look like those of Dai Pai Dong (street stall of old HK) cum HK tea room partition table setting (卡位) which are a bit boring to me. The bar lounge is in another so-called east-meet-west stereo-typed design (photo 4).
Food-wise, as it claims to have the CX HK lounge's renowned noodle bar, I expected it to be something similar, but it wasn't. Even the fruit salad was not so fresh, though this place is in such a tropical fruit paradise as Thailand. Hope that it will improve in time.

Because they ship all the fresh fruits and good food to HK that is why LOL....

I learnt from radio today there is one airport in BKK now they need better security check so they told the passendgers to arrrive 3 hours earlier. Not sure if it is SUV though.
They said it's the Don Muang airport. Not sure though.
