Officina di Santa Maria Novella, Florence, Italy

A few years ago, a friend of mine, found a pop-up stall in Emporium.  He was excited to share this new finding.  So we visited that stall 3 times in 3 days in a row.  Bought quite some stuff but still feel missing a part of it.  Interesting SM Novella gradually opened a shop in MO BKK, IFC HK as well as in Cannes.  Within 2 years all these places are those I have frequently visited.  Getting to know it and getting to know more.  My fair years of SM Novella and so I got to read more history of how the religion and Florence brought the Renaissance to revolution of arts.
All about medicine and scents to heal the sick.  Florence attracted quite many poor and sick people.  Because of the healing, people got to work again and so to contribute themselves back to the community.  Then they get rich and get more enlightened and so to express their feeling in art form of many greatest paintings and sculptures.  The era of Renaissance was then here in Florence.  Now I could be here.  I thought about my past - nothing in my pocket, saving dimes for a bread, keep learning and exploring, getting frustrated and many hardships, taking them all and passing them thru'.  And keep moving on....  The journey of scent and the meaning of life.  A note of our sense to feel and to think.
