Restaurant Lindenkeller, Vienna, Austria

Quite many shops and restaurants name their starting year as 17xx or 18xx.  This one is one of them.  It is in a basement of the main shopping street.  The deco. is very nostalgic.  One item on the menu drew my attention - beef broth with rum steak soaked in broth.  Actually, it's just the left over from the soup.  As most of the food in Vienna are deep fried, I had to try something not that heavy.  The soup isn't as good as what we boil for Cantonese soup, but it's good that they don't have any seasoning in it, but a bit salty to me.

What kind of dishes are they good at?
Any famous menu in Vienna?

deep fried breaded coating food and some stuffed meat. Anyway, we may hear about French, Italian, German, Spanish cuisine, but not very often heard about Austrian.
