There are several ways of getting to hotels in Venice. It can be bus, train or ferry, or shared or private water taxi. I chose the shared water taxi and it can be right to your hotel or a pier nearby. It cost about Euros 50 for a roundtrip, but saves the trouble from any potential day light robbery or stealing in public transportation.
As for the hotel, the service is average but no complaint for this touristic place. Contemporary decoration, clean and tidy.
