Back to mine - a classic Cantonese dinner with 喜臨門, Asoke, BKK

Though it's not a good way to cook with lard, I have to admit that we can still try it once in a while.  I like the way the lettuce being stir fried with lard.  The deep fried pigeon is not to be missed.  All the dishes are very classic and remind me of the 70's Hong Kong.  Now most of the meals are much too decorative or cooked in some hybrid way.

Food does taste better with lard.
Once is a while is ok.
I don't live over 100 even if we don't eat lard or this and that..., even if I do I don't want to live long without eating the food I like.
If there is still lard over rice in HK I would like to eat again.
No 5 is my favorite.

If the technology keeps on, we may be able to live beyond 100. However, I'd let it be, since holding too much complex memory and holding too many things are sometimes too heavy. There should be a "break" naturally.
No. 5 is the twin signature dish as the other is 肉絲炒麵 in HK. :)

Yes I totally agreed with you Sea.
I don't want to be the last one left in this world after all my friends are gone.
Yes too much sadness and happiness to carry if I have to live to 100 years old.
No 5 above is my favorite and also the No 5 in HK.

Have you watched the movie called "Highlander"? It's about an immortal person who couldn't help with seeing his loved ones leaving but while he was still living.

OK.
I would like to see that movie.
I don't want to be the last one around as it is very sad.
In order to avoid this to happen I don't need to be on a healthy diet.
And instead please get on a healthy diet as I want you to stay longer.....
