I recall when the first sushi shop with automatic belt landed HK, my friends and I visited it almost every other 2 weeks. We could take 30-40 plates in total without even being full. On and off I didn't visit that often, or just once or twice a year. However, the trend of this kind of sushi shop has never faded away. Still some pretty long queues are still there. Among all these chains, I like Genki sushi the best in terms of price and food quality. It cost about HK$120-150 for each person.

For $20 US if you can eat full that is very good price.
If only half full then kind of expensive.
Yes we all do not eat as much as we did 10 years ago.
