Got a bargain deal from Wincastle for a mid-Autumn festival package. This residence was supposed for sale or rental, but then offered for a traveler's residence. The furniture is quite old-fashioned but the view is so nice with a panoramic ocean view up on the hill of Bang Por beach on the north east of Samui. The weather in Thailand is very unstable. So stormy that the tree got fallen and the power blacked out last night. The room is in a very poor sound proof that I can hear someone talking in the corridor. Anyway, it's a nice room for a view to get a relaxing holiday break.

Wow very very nice resort hotel.
This is a steal for the package bargain price you mentioned.
If in US even 5 times the price and cannot get half of this.
HK people are lucky since they are so close to Thailand, Taiwan and Japan, all my favorite vacation places.
On the 2nd night, I heard some rats' noise and running on the ceiling. :)
Geographically HK is quite nice to be the centre to all of these places from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia. All are so different.
