Doraya Japanese restaurant, Causeway Bay, HK

Over the past few years, Japanese noodle shops, sushi shops and various types of Japanese restaurants have been stepping into the market.  This one highlighting their sashimi don has been having some very good business.  Within 2 years, they opened another branch next door.  This time I tried their mixed sashimi don at HK$118.  Food quality is pretty good and the side dishes are not bad either.

Is that sashimi on rice like chirashi?

The original chirashi should be sushi rice (with vinegar and sugar to be tossed into the rice). However, nowadays not many shops having this original sushi rice but still call that as chirashi. So I'd rather put this one as sashimi on rice. Since quite many shops only use steamed rice only.
