Cote Jardin (Coast Garden), Cannes, Southern France

As when my friend used his app to search a nearby restaurant (on the main road of Blvd. Carnot), there we checked this place.  It's quite in the back lanes of the residential area that I wouldn't walk around this area over the past.
The restaurant offers a 3 course menu with a few choices for starters, main course and dessert.  We chose a foie gras pate, sun dried tomato pudding and strawberry gazpacho as starters, a roasted lamb and roasted cod for the mains, a raspberry tart and choco mousse as dessert.  All the starters and mains are very impressive but a little flaw on the choco mousse that it isn't that aromatic but much too sweet.  After all, the deco and ambience are a plus for visiting this restaurant once again in my future trips to Cannes.

Yes, it's a very big portion. I sometimes have to just get 2 courses.

So not all French dishes are tiny.
This one looks good in portion also the food and atmosphere.

Rather on the contrary, most French dishes I tried in France aren't that small, but those French dishes outside of France are. That means it was made for an excuse to get you something delicate and "authentic" food.

So the French dishes in HK msu be small portion overall to make them look "authentic French".
And the dishes in France not as authentic LOL....

Not just French dishes in HK, but also others, say in BKK or other SE Asian countries I have tried.
