Highlight on the dessert, The Edge, Aleenta Phang Nga

It has been 2 years I haven't been to Aleenta and this restaurant.  Didn't get much impressed with this place since it used some local instant noodle with blue crab as a fusion dish but charged at THB600.
This time I am happy to see they offer an Italian menu.  So we chose a quinoa salad and a porchini soup.  The salad is very nice with some lemon zesty and smooth eggplant slices and some cooked carrot, making the whole dish very fresh and also taking out the chewy and muddy aroma of quinoa.  The prochini soup is good though it's a bit too salty.  Mains are the stuffed barracuda filet and roasted chicken breast with pomegranate salad.  Perhaps the salad and the soup is too filling that we couldn't finish the mains.  The chicken breast is a bit overcooked and too dried out, but the side salad is delicious.  The fish filet is good too but a very big portion.
Out of curiosity, we had a tiramisu as a dessert.  Much beyond expectation.  Very lovely home made dark choco. ice cream with some brown biscuits crusty to go with.  The tiramisu is in a very smooth and rich coffee liquor aroma.  I believe this dessert would be something I would very much like to re-visit this place again.

$20 US for instant noodle is a robbery.
Glad they made it up with the delicious tiramisu dessert.

Yes, and fortunately that chef only worked there for a few months (back then in 2014). Though the food prices are still quite high, at least it is quite worth it.

With the blue sky, clear water, super hotel, and the overall relaxing atmosphere it is well worth it.
