As usual, browsing other neighbouring hotels and resorts is always on my agenda. This time it's Pullman Cape Panwa just on the left side of Amatara, within 8-10 minute walking time. The interior is quite some standard of Accor resort. The beach in front is quite well maintained and clean too. However, if the room rate is about US$120-150, there should be some other better choices.

You mean hotel rate of $120 to $150 in Phuket is expensive?
This price looks good to me for this nice hotel.
If in LA, has to be $350 US range.
Yes, supposed Pullman standard is somewhat around US$80 in Phuket and yet this area isn't a prime location; so it should be just around US$60-70.
WOW this is really a good price to Americans.
Thank you Sea for the good info and sharing as always.
Happy New Year of the Rooster to you with more good food, good trip and good blog.
So soon those hotels in the States should go even higher because US market will be more "made in America". Good for the Patriots.
I think it shall be the reverse since people in the world are discouraged to come to US.
They don't know when their visa will be rejected or when they will be classified as "potential terrorist" or unwelcome tourists out of nothing.
It would be good if the locals look for high cost domestic travel. After all, I would think in this current world, people should be staying in their own places. Don't go to those places they condemned as "dirty". Always interesting to see those people to go to some "pork" country and then claim "eating unclean food". Imagine someone coming to your house and then tell you "you are cooking dirty food". I don't mean to say eating certain food is right or wrong, but if you don't then respect the others who do. Our faith is to hold our spirit but not to step on the others.
Also, those others not having that specific religion, shouldn't interfere those countries' internal affairs or intrude them by claiming as "destroying massive lethal weapon". The causes and the consequences.
Totally agreed.
We shall just mind our own business instead of intruding to other's territory to interfere.
