Told the front office that we were so hungry that we would want a lunch first before going to pick up the room. Got a steamed lemongrass chicken salad, Pad Thai and fish cake. The lemongrass chicken was quite horrible that some frozen chicken was used. The chef might think the lemongrass would take out the frozen smell. Quite a mistake they thought and also they thought it could be a Hainanese chicken in local Thai cooking by using lemongrass. The Pad Thai was disappointing too. Small portion. Don't let the prawns mislead you that they were big. That was a Pad Thai and you could just have 2 bites to finish it. The fish cake was also very consistent. Another ridiculous thing was that they charged a small bottle of Mont Fleur (local brand) water at THB150, vs many other resorts charging only THB50. At last when they served a diet coke, they made it in a "high class" presentation for having the syrup container taking the left portion from the can.
