When I look at all these photos, I recall how my hands got chilled at 4 degree celsius, raining and windy with my umbrella all the way. The good thing is that my X100 comes in a very handy way that I can switch the aperture and shuttle speed manually, instead of jumping in the on-screen menu.

Do you mean you took these nice photos with only one hand in a rainy and windy day?
If yes your one hand and your camera are amazing.
Taking photo with one hand isn't difficult but if it's windy, rainy and chilling....
Yes need good cooridiantion and balance to hold your camera and umbrella like an acrobat.
