The new business class as being progressively retrofitted in its newly employed A350-900. The seat takes an extended side bench on the left. Besides, on the right, there is another extended rest to hold the bed in a wider space. During such a short flight, CX still provides a full meal service for business class. I got a veggie rice with seafood in XO sauce. Pretty nice.
P.S. on this round trip, I got upgraded to the business class for both the outbound an inbound flights. It's really interesting that there are more than 20 flights back-and-forth a day between Taipei and HK, but most of the flights are still very full.

You have earned a lot from this upgrade.
CX is still the best overall.
After all, CX did listen to my comments about the check-thru' luggage issue that I have written to them back-and-forth by explaining how clumsy of this policy and yet it has caused much extra work for not only the ground staff, but also the immigration and security checking of the connecting flight airport. On Dec. 22, they announced they "we listened to you" and re-launch the check-thru' lugguage. So on and off, we gave them comments and they return some goodies such as upgrades for their members.
You did the good thing with good suggestions also good that they listen to you so they can improve and continue to be one of the best airlines worldwide.
Actually they didn't improve but I just commented them not to fall behind. I often told them and got very fed up with those people claiming on high tech but then working in such a backward manner.
If they are the best already higher chance to fall behind since no need to improve LOL....
Not sure if they are the best, but if the others go worse and in comparison, then they could be.
